On 13th October 2025 UNIDO ITPO Italy joined the press conference presenting the upcoming edition of CODEWAY Expo – Business for Cooperation 2026, hosted at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and attended by over 100 participants from institutions, the private sector, and the development community.

During his intervention, Deputy Head of UNIDO ITPO Italy Andrea Carapellese underlined how CODEWAY serves as a key platform to connect all actors in development cooperation, fostering dialogue and concrete project generation. He reaffirmed UNIDO ITPO Italy’s long-standing support for the initiative, which has been used as a space to organize workshops, roundtables, and delegations that link Italian companies with partners from developing countries — transforming ideas into impact and partnerships into sustainable growth.

The panel, moderated by journalist Maria Cuffaro, featured interventions by Stefano Gatti (MAECI), Marco Rusconi (AICS), Antonio Tomassini (Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo), and Wladimiro Boccali (CODEWAY Expo), among others, confirming Italy’s continued commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable development cooperation.
