UNIDO ITPO Italy is pleased to invite Italian companies to participate in its "P.A.T. Professional Agriculture Tour in Iraq" business mission, which will be held in Baghdad from December 8 to 11, 2025.

The P.A.T. mission represents a new opportunity for Italian companies providing technological solutions in the fields of sustainable and precision agriculture and the agri-food industry, including, but not limited to, data collection and monitoring mechanisms, soil quality improvement, water-efficient irrigation techniques, soil restoration methods, pre- and post-harvest solutions, agri-food processing and packaging technologies, cold chain, food quality certifications, and food analysis laboratories.

The objectives of the initiative: promote networking and interaction with potential Iraqi business partners through B2B and B2G meetings; deepen understanding of the Iraqi business environment through organized visits to Iraqi companies and startups; better understand the needs and challenges of the Iraqi market and discover new opportunities in the local market; as well as initiate and/or consolidate local contacts.

The service package offered free of charge by UNIDO ITPO Italy to participating companies (1 representative per company) includes:

• Hotel accommodation for up to 3 nights with breakfast included (check-in 08/12/2025 and check-out 11/12/2025).
• Letter for e-visa issuance.
• On-site transfers, including airport transfers. Transfers (airport/hotel/visits to companies and/or institutions) will be provided by shuttle, van, or car.
• Opportunity for Italian companies to present their company and solutions (in terms of products and services) at a conference organized at the Iraqi Federation of Industries Business Center.
• In the event of a deviation from the itinerary or travel dates scheduled by UNIDO ITPO Italy, any additional costs and any related organization will be borne by the delegates concerned. Any expenses incurred by delegates for travel, passports, visas, medical exams, vaccinations, and anything not expressly indicated above will be borne by the delegates.

The initiative is organized within the framework of the project "Establishing a platform for innovative ideas and technologies for local industrial sectors in Iraq," funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
