In the framework of its activities carried out for the project ‘Establishing a platform for innovative ideas and technologies for local industrial sectors in Iraq’, funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), UNIDO ITPO Italy assisted a delegation from Iraqi companies and the Iraqi Federation of Industries (IFI) to take part as exhibitors in TuttoFood, held in Milan from 5th to 8th May 2025.

IFI exhibitors — well-structured Iraqi companies both in terms of production capacity and quality, with adequate certifications to export products to Italy and the EU, and strongly interested in collaborating with Italian companies — had the opportunity to showcase and promote their Made-in-Iraq food&beverage products, gather contacts of potential buyers, and discover the trends and consumer preferences in Italy and other EU countries.
