On 25th and 26th March 2025, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and took part, together with the Contamination Lab of the University of Trieste (CLab UniTS), in a mission to Istanbul to provide support to the winners of its “YES! Call”, in the framework of the project “Boosting Youth Engagement for Sustainable Innovation” funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) Autonomous Region.

During the mission, the delegation had the opportunity to meet with the Consolate General of Italy in Istanbul and the local Italian Trade Agency (ITA), to discuss potential synergies for further business opportunities between Italy and Türkiye.

The delegation also visited the Istanbul Aydin University (IAU), where the winners of the YES! Call had the opportunity to engage in interesting know-how exchanges on R&I and circular-economy models, further promoting opportunities for business, innovation and collaborations between the two countries.
